About The Position
The c inema Sche duler plays a crucial role to ensure all operational areas have an achievable, balanced portion of work per shift. Sitting between client teams and operations, the cinema s cheduling team is the internal go-to for production queries relating to capacity, resource, and prioriti z ation of tasks. The Scheduling team collectively over see and have ownership of project timelines from start to finish. We maintain a project-based forecast to assist in our planning and prepa ration of all operational teams’ resource and capacity . We continuously learn & recogni z e client trends to eff iciently build out accurate plan s of action.
Requirements
- All candidates must have an understanding of the Digital Cinema Packaging workflow, as well as a basic knowledge of the DI (Digital Intermediate) workflow.
- The Cinema S che dulers must be good communicator s , well organized, work well in a team environment, and can facilitate multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- The y must be flexible to work whatever shift is available including nights and weekends as well as work overtime as required by the business needs.
Responsibilities
- Schedule work to deliver c ontent as p er client delivery r equirements.
- Manage the prioritization of operational queue s , facilitat ing the production process to ensure client deadlines are met and operational teams are working within capacity .
- In coordination with the QC (Quality Control) Department, m onitor QC theatre bookings .
- Maintenance of theatrical and marketing forecasts.
- Provision of various repor ts as per business requirements.
- Attend and facilitate client team and operational meetings relating to existing and new projects.
- Build a rapport with all internal departments and establish excellent working relationships.
- Provide s upport for all teams global ly .
- Raise any capacity/operational/forecasting concerns with Scheduling Manager for remediation .
- Helping the Account Teams to keep project(s) on a specific timeline for completion .
- Creation of Work Orders in Deluxe’ s proprietary workflow system s
- Communicating with clients for the Account Team when
- Other duties as assigned by direct supervisor
