Position is primarily responsible for scheduling transportation of natural gas to facilities as required for the utility Verifies accuracy of portfolio and assists back office with monthly closing processes Works closely with various teams within EMT including Trading, Origination, and Analytics Ensure alignment and compliance with all relevant management systems and Risk guidelines Develop and maintain relationships with gas producers and marketers Engages and supports gas optimization trading activities Responsible for after-hours and weekend on call responsibilities as part of a rotation Required participation/presence for all critical events, including potential relocation to back-up site during extreme weather events Job OverviewThis position is responsible for scheduling transportation of natural gas, fuel oil, and/or wholesale power purchases and/or sales to facilities as required for unit obligations. Individuals may provide guidance or training to less experienced schedulers. Employees in this role ensure scheduling processes take place in a correct and timely manner with regard to applicable regulations, policies, and deadlines.
