About The Position

Affirmed Home Care is a leading concierge, private-pay home care provider dedicated to delivering exceptional, personalized care to clients in the comfort of their homes. Our team is committed to supporting families with compassionate, high-quality care and dependable service. We are currently seeking a Scheduling Coordinator for an immediate opening in our Monroe, New Jersey office. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment and enjoys coordinating schedules, supporting caregivers, and ensuring seamless client care.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • 1–2+ years of scheduling, staffing, or coordinator experience (healthcare, home care, or medical office preferred)
  • Experience using scheduling software or workforce management systems
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
  • Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree preferred

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and assign caregivers to client visits and shifts based on client needs and caregiver availability
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date caregiver schedules within the scheduling system
  • Respond quickly to schedule changes, call-outs, and urgent coverage needs
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for caregiver scheduling inquiries
  • Communicate schedule updates clearly and promptly with caregivers and clients
  • Address and resolve scheduling conflicts while maintaining a high level of client service
  • Ensure accurate documentation of caregiver assignments and schedules
  • Collaborate with clinical staff and leadership to support seamless care delivery
  • Coordinate schedules for home health aides, LPNs, and RNs
  • Ensure all client cases are properly staffed
  • Manage schedule changes, call-outs, and urgent coverage needs
  • Communicate with caregivers and clients to maintain smooth daily operations
