What you get to do: Provide clear, and accurate, analytical interpretation and reporting of labor utilization to support workforce planning and scheduling. Enthusiastically represents SeaWorld by displaying a positive attitude, high level of energy and commitment to quality and throughout all aspects of the job. Main point of contact for park leadership to improve labor system efficiencies. Identify solutions that improve schedules created by Team Member Management (TMM) system to reduce manual adjustments/edits. You will also: Oversee and supervise the TMM & Scheduling operation. Collaborate with park leadership to align and manage labor grids to on-going efficiency efforts. Create weekly department area schedules within a set budget. Create and update schedule configuration profiles. Gather and review department operating data to create and update line schedules. Create, analyze, and report on labor hour trends, staffing patterns, budgets, and projections, and make recommendations for process improvement. Assist the Business Analysis team and operating departments with workforce planning and labor budgets. Maintain the accuracy of Team Member Management (TMM) applications, configuration, and data. Provide support and training for TMM applications, as well as labor management. Coach, counsel, and train Ambassadors that report to you. Administrative responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or a relevant work experience
  • Experience with labor budgets, scheduling, and line schedule management required.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Access and Excel; to include utilizing software to build efficient and effective analytical and reporting tools.
  • Must have strong organizational skills.
  • Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must have the ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Must have strong analytical, critical thinking and decision-making skills.
  • Must be able to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
  • Must be able to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Must be able to positively interact with guests and co-workers of all ages, different ethnic/cultural backgrounds and/or languages, and individuals with special needs.
  • Must be able to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to work 40 hours per week.
  • Ability to be flexible in work locations as placement will depend on business needs and career development opportunities.
  • Work a flexible schedule/hour based on business need, to include opening, mid-, and closing shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays.
