About The Position

Looking to spend your spring in the beautiful Phoenix metro area? Cross Country Education is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist for an impactful, short-term assignment serving the vibrant communities of Tempe and Guadalupe, AZ ! Starting in late March, you’ll support two welcoming elementary campuses located just five miles apart to help make a difference in the lives of K–5 students as they head into the final months of the school year. Position Overview: Conduct thorough speech and language evaluations for K-5 students, acting as a key member of the Multidisciplinary Evaluation Team (MET) to interpret results and draft actionable recommendations. Lead the development, implementation, and monitoring of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), serving as the primary case manager for designated students to ensure all milestones and outcomes are met. Provide expert guidance to classroom teachers, administrators, and parents to integrate therapeutic strategies into the student's daily academic environment. Maintain Medicaid records and accurate documentation of student files, ensuring all diagnostic validations and program recommendations meet state and federal documentation standards.

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid Arizona Department of Education (ADE) Speech-Language Pathologist Certificate
  • Current Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS) State License
  • Valid IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
