About The Position
Full-Service Facility Maintenance company offering a wide range of janitorial services for industrial, commercial and construction customers throughout Northeast Ohio for the past 28 years. Located in a Southeast suburb of Cleveland, Ohio off of I 271 & 480 E. Broadway Forbes exit. Clean and sanitize classrooms, offices, restrooms, and common areas Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors as needed Empty trash bins and replace liners Dust furniture, fixtures, and equipment Refill soap dispensers, paper towels, and other supplies Floor Care Experience - Report any damages, repairs, or safety hazards to the supervisor Follow proper safety procedures and use cleaning chemicals appropriately Secure the building by locking doors and windows after cleaning Perform other cleaning duties as assigned by the supervisor Location: School Custodian-Lorain, Ohio 44232 Days: Monday through Friday Time: 7:30 am - 3:30pm Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour Text 216-244-8857 Refer to Job # 574 or Call (440) 439-2288 ask for Marilyn for immediate consideration This is a all year round position.
Requirements
- Floor Care experience (preferred) - Stripping, Waxing, Scrubbing Buffing and recoating of hard surface floors.
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks throughout the shift
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Flexibility to adjust cleaning routines as needed
- Basic English communication skills
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Must have reliable transportation and be able to pass a BCI/FBI background check
