Ampersand Therapy is hiring a School Social Worker in Gurnee, IL Position Details Start Date: As soon as possible Schedule: Full-time until end of school year Location: Woodland Community Consolidated School District #50 in Gurnee, IL

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW)
• Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Social Worker endorsement

Nice To Haves

• Experience in schools or special education is a plus
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a major asset but not required
• Passion for inclusive, student-centered support and school collaboration

Responsibilities

• Provide IEP counseling services and social-emotional support
• Attend and participate in IEP meetings
• Complete IEP documentation and progress reports
• Collaborate with school-based special education teams
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
• Engage with families and community-based supports when appropriate
• Participate in staff meetings and contribute to a collaborative school culture
