Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) 2025-2026 School Year Ampersand Therapy is hiring a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist for the remainder of the school year in Elmwood Park, IL. Position Details Schedule: Full-Time Location: In-person, Elementary School Start Date: Starting as soon as possible through the remainder of the 25-26 school year Service Area: Evaluations, IEPs, progress reports, and team collaboration

Requirements

• Valid Illinois Speech Language Pathologist license or willingness to acquire ASAP
• Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with Speech-Language Pathologist endorsement or willingness to acquire ASAP
• Bilingual in Spanish and English (required for this role)
• Strong skills in speech and language assessment and intervention
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations
• Provide therapy sessions tailored to student needs
• Prepare IEP reports and participate in IEP meetings
• Track and deliver progress reports
• Attend staff meetings and support multidisciplinary collaboration
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation
