About The Position

MOSI's Summer Science Camps aim to inspire curious minds through creativity, imagination, and hands-on learning. Camps cover a wide range of topics-from chemistry and robotics to space science-and take place in classroom, laboratory, and outdoor environments. Requirements

• Monday–Friday availability throughout the summer.
• Mature, dependable, and flexible with duties and scheduling.
• Experience working with children.
• Interest or background in science and/or technology.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must pass a Level II Background Screening through the Department of Children & Families.

Nice To Haves

• First Aid, CPR, and Lifeguard training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise morning and afternoon extended care, as well as lunch periods.
• Lead games and activities during extended care and lunchtime.
• Assist instructors with hands-on science and technology activities.
• Support overall camp operations with a friendly, can-do attitude.
• Participate in mandatory training and orientation.
• Work collaboratively with MOSI staff and outside partners.
• Greet parents and campers in a friendly, energetic, and professional manner.
• Demonstrate commitment to MOSI's mission and educational philosophy.
