AP Physics (C-Mechanics) Replacement Leave – Science Department The Greenhills School Science Department seeks a passionate and skilled science educator to teach two sections of AP Physics (C-Mechanics) and two sections of Physics during a replacement leave. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background in the sciences and a deep understanding of physics at the advanced placement level, with the ability to engage students in rigorous, inquiry-based study. At Greenhills, the Science Department guides students toward a meaningful understanding of science’s unifying concepts and the methods by which scientists explore and explain the natural world. The successful candidate will find great joy in working with adolescents and will demonstrate a passion for helping students develop sophisticated mathematical reasoning and laboratory skills through student-centered and hands-on learning experiences. Greenhills science faculty work collaboratively within the department and across disciplines to create meaningful, real-world learning experiences. They integrate appropriate technology tools into instruction and design laboratory and field investigations that encourage curiosity, analysis, and scientific thinking.
