About The Position

Our mission is to develop therapies that empower the immune system to combat neurodegeneration and our team is focused on developing treatments for some of the most challenging diseases facing our society. We are seeking a motivated and independently driven Scientist to join our team investigating Parkinson’s disease biology using iPSC-derived cells and in vivo models. The successful candidate will oversee animal studies and data analysis, and design and execute cell-based assays to advance our understanding of Parkinson’s disease within a collaborative, cross-functional research team.

Requirements

  • PhD in Immunology, Neuroscience, or related field
  • Demonstrated expertise in mammalian cell culture techniques
  • Proficiency in standard molecular biology methods
  • Experience with imaging techniques
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively in team settings
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Nice To Haves

  • Hands-on experience with iPSC culture and differentiation
  • Experience with immunohistochemistry (IHC)
  • Experience managing CRO relationships or external collaborations
  • Track record of scientific presentations and/or publications

Responsibilities

  • Design, optimize, and perform cell-based assays using iPSC-derived cells
  • Conduct standard molecular biology experiments including Western blot, ELISA, flow cytometry, etc.
  • Perform cell-based imaging and immunohistochemistry (IHC) to assess protein localization, expression, and cellular phenotypes
  • Manage external collaborations and coordinate activities with contract research organizations (CROs)
  • Analyze, interpret, and present experimental data to project teams and external partners
  • Collaborate effectively with scientists across multiple therapeutic areas and functional groups
  • Maintain detailed experimental records and contribute to scientific reports and publications
