Requirements

  • Prefer 5-10 years Global procurement experience in the Trading Company; BA\BS in International Business
  • Must have the ability to effectively communicate in English and Japanese (speaking, reading & writing). required
  • Must be proficient in MS Office, particularly with Word & Excel
  • Procurement/Planning experience
  • Passion to create new solution of global procurement and supply chain
  • Must set challenging goals, proactively acts as “Customer First” and strong desire for self-improvement
  • Overnight travel as business needs require
  • Ability to work extended shifts, evenings and weekends as business needs require
  • Team work spirit
  • Try to perform and improve Creativity
  • Position is located in Sparks, Nevada
  • Pre-employment drug testing is required.
  • All candidates must have valid authorization to work in the U.S. without restriction.

Responsibilities

  • Solution Development Identify opportunities to improve, develop and expand the global procurement scheme through purchase and supply of raw materials, components and devices.
  • Communicate with business associates (customers, suppliers, logistics service providers) smoothly with problem solving mind.
  • Procurement Operation Management Analyze customer needs and provide value added service to consolidate procurement functions of Panasonic factories to maximize productivity.
  • Control inventory and delivery, checking inventory and balance purchase order status, negotiating with supplier and customers and cooperating with business associates (warehouse, logistics companies)
  • Summarize monthly P & L and balance sheet figures for accounts
  • Maintain the system master data (customer, vendor & product)
  • Ensure timely delivery of account receivables from customers
  • Ensure timely collection of invoices from customers
  • Ensure timely payment of invoices to suppliers, freight & warehouse companies
