Position Description: Facilitate all Agile Ceremonies: Leading daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Responsible for ensuring they are effective, focused on teams’ needs. Agile Coaching: Mentor teams and individuals on Scrum and Agile best practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and accountability. Team Collaboration: Build and maintain strong relationships with product owners, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment of project goals and deliverables. Encourage open communication, trust, and accountability. Metrics and Reporting: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for Scrum teams, ensuring visibility into progress and helping teams improve their velocity, quality, and delivery. Facilitate Product Backlog Management: Assist Product Owners in managing the backlog and ensuring that items are well-defined, prioritized, and ready for the upcoming sprint. Continuous Improvement: Promote a culture of continuous improvement by guiding the team to reflect on processes and outcomes, identifying areas for enhancement, and driving incremental changes. Risk Management: Anticipate potential risks and challenges, and proactively work with teams to address them, minimizing the impact on delivery timelines and team morale. Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring expectations are clear and that teams are aligned with project goals. Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
  • Certification: Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or equivalent Agile certifications (e.g., SAFe, Lean, Kanban).
  • Agile Expertise: Deep understanding of Agile principles, Scrum framework, and other Agile methodologies (Kanban, Lean, etc.).
  • Tools: Proficiency with Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, etc.)
  • Proficient in various desktop tools including MS Office Programs (i.e., Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, SharePoint etc.)
  • 4-7 years’ experience as a Scrum Master, with a proven track record of successfully leading Scrum teams in delivering high-quality software products.
  • Experience working with distributed or remote teams.
  • Familiarity with software development processes and practices, including DevOps, CI/CD, and automated testing.

  • Experience in scaling Agile practices in large or complex organizations.
