About The Position

We help organisations build, deploy, and scale applications without the complexity or high cost of hyperscale clouds. We’re expanding our go-to-market organization and looking for a passionate, data-driven SDR Manager to lead our growing Sales Development team. This is a high-impact role responsible for pipeline generation, outbound strategy, team coaching, and scaling a world-class SDR engine. As the SDR Manager, you will lead, coach, and develop a team of Sales Development Representatives responsible for outbound and inbound pipeline creation. You will design strategies that accelerate lead conversion, improve SDR productivity, and support Vultr’s ambitious growth targets. This role requires someone who thrives in a high-velocity, technical sales environment and who understands how to connect with developers, IT leaders, and cloud decision-makers.

Requirements

  • 3–6+ years in SDR, BDR, or outbound sales roles; 1–3+ years managing SDRs.
  • Proven track record building or scaling an SDR function at a SaaS, cloud, or technical company.
  • Experience driving outbound motions targeting IT, engineering, or cloud buyers.
  • Strong understanding of SDR metrics, dashboards, and funnel optimization.
  • Excellent coaching, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Hands-on familiarity with sales tools like Salesforce/HubSpot, Outreach, SalesNav, Apollo, etc.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, and develop a team of SDRs to consistently exceed pipeline and activity targets.
  • Run weekly 1:1s, team coaching sessions, call reviews, and performance tracking.
  • Hire, onboard, and ramp new SDRs as the team grows.
  • Measure and improve conversion rates across the entire SDR funnel.
  • Own outbound strategy, messaging, cadences, and targeting.
  • Partner with Sales and Marketing on pipeline goals and execution.
  • Build high-quality pipeline for Mid-Market and Enterprise AEs.
  • Develop scalable workflows for inbound qualification and outbound prospecting.
  • Build dashboards and reporting for SDR productivity, activity levels, and pipeline health.
  • Continuously refine scripts, outreach frameworks, and objection handling.
  • Maintain CRM and sales tech stack hygiene (HubSpot/Salesforce, Outreach, SalesNav, etc.).
  • Work with Product Marketing to align messaging to product launches and ICPs.
  • Partner with Marketing,demand gen alignment, and event follow-up.
  • Provide feedback to Product and GTM on prospect trends and competitive insights.
  • Analyse SDR performance to identify trends, gaps, and coaching opportunities.
  • Experiment with new channels (video outreach, social selling, multithreaded sequences).
  • Create weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reports for leadership.
