Seafood Delivery Driver
About The Position
Four Star Seafood is a leading provider of fresh, high-quality seafood to restaurants, chefs, and consumers in the Bay Area. We are passionate about the ocean and committed to sustainable practices. We are seeking a reliable and responsible delivery driver to join our team! As a Seafood Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for delivering fresh seafood orders to our customers in a timely and efficient manner. You will be responsible for loading and unloading your vehicle, ensuring the safe and proper handling of our products, and providing excellent customer service.
Requirements
- Minimum Age: 25 years old (insurance requirement).
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (Minimum of 3 years).
- Ability to safely operate a delivery vehicle.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Positive and professional attitude.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with food delivery is a plus.
- Familiarity with the [City/Region] area is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Drive safely and efficiently to assigned delivery locations.
- Load and unload orders from the company vehicle, following proper handling procedures to maintain the freshness and quality of the seafood.
- Verify orders for accuracy and completeness before departure.
- Deliver orders to customers on time, with a positive attitude, professional manner, aligning with the company’s core values.
- Collect payments and process paperwork as required.
- Keep the company vehicle clean and organized as required for successful distribution of products (vehicle and gas a re provided).
- Report any issues or concerns to dispatch immediately, including all collisions or malfunctions.
- Comply with all company policies, procedures, and applicable laws.
