About The Position

Receives, logs and issue materials to stockroom, warehouse or designated location.

Requirements

• Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.
• Must be able to work independently or within a team environment.
• Employees in all warehouse positions must be able to immediately perceive auditory warning signals such as bells, alarms, and horns that are used to warn employees of the start-up, movement, or approach of equipment (including forklifts, turrets, overhead cranes, conveyors, trucks, and other equipment operated inside or outside the warehouse), mechanical abnormalities, and similar risk situations during warehouse operations.
• Ability to operate powered industrial vehicle (PIV)
• You are required to provide your most recent employment experience for your application to be considered complete.

Responsibilities

• Checks goods received against bills of lading or purchase orders.
• Checks goods for damage and expiration dates.
• Identify and account for all histamine products (seafood only).
• Sorts, counts and checks received items.
• Maintains required clerical records.
• Operates warehouse equipment as needed to move goods to storage area and place in designated location.
• Identify damaged packaging and/or possible cross contaminated product.
• Perform returns.
• Maintain and rotate cooler and freezer (USDA only).
• Inventory control (USDA only).
• Performs other duties as assigned.
