We are currently seeking a Sealer . At Sonaca North America, our “Sealer” refers to the production work force that applies sealer and associated processing.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or high school equivalency preferred. Candidates that do not have a high school diploma or high school equivalency will be required to take a pre-employment assessment to be considered for the role.
  • Must be present and able to work as required by assigned position/shift/etc.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
  • International Traffic in Arms Regulation/Export Administration Regulations (ITARE/EAR clearance is required.)
  • Must be able to interpret building instructions (i.e. Installation Plans (IP’s), work orders, etc.) to enable production of parts consistent with current engineering configuration.
  • Must be able to use tools and techniques as required of their assigned buildings.
  • Must understand the deliverables as defined by their supervisor.
  • Able to distinguish quality characteristics as it relates to assigned builds, so that a quality part is presented to QA.
  • Must be able to work cooperatively in a team environment.
  • Must have a focus on quality and have a clear understanding of risk escapement and potential impact to product.
  • Knowledge and understanding current specifications relation to the application of sealant.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time
  • Noise levels ranging from quiet to extremely loud
  • Required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when working on the manufacturing floor including, but not limited to, eye, ear, and foot protection
  • May occasionally lift and /or move up to 10-50 pounds

Responsibilities

  • Sealers are responsible for the application of sealant using a variety of methods as needed in accordance with the build requirements.
