About The Position

The Custom Applicator/Operations role is responsible for operating and maintaining application equipment according to specifications. The Custom Applicator/Operations will work with the other members of the team to work toward operational goals while maintaining quality and efficiencies.

Requirements

High School diploma, GED, 1-3 months demonstrated industry experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Some application experience is required.
Experience operating a Forklift & Skid-Steer/Loader.
A valid drivers license and acceptable driving record.
Basic computer knowledge preferred.
Must have a can-do attitude and willingness to learn.
Demonstrated ability to work well with a team as well as individually.
Ability to work long hours and occasional weekends (seasonally).
The ability to lift 75 pounds regularly.
The ability to respond quickly to sounds.
The ability to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces.
The ability to see and respond to dangerous situations.
The ability to safely climb ladders while carrying 40 pounds.
The ability to work in extreme weather.
The ability to wear personal protective gear correctly most of the day.

Nice To Haves

Custom application experience is preferred.
Mechanical/welding abilities are a plus.
Class A License is a plus.

Responsibilities

Operate and maintain floaters and sprayers in a safe, efficient, and accurate manner.
Read maps, follows directions, and operates machines utilizing GPS-guided monitors.
Provide accurate and efficient unloading and delivery of product.
Will have opportunities to be involved with some light trucking duties during non-peak times.
