About The Position

The Facilities Cleaner is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and overall facility appearance through routine janitorial services. This role ensures a safe, sanitary, and organized environment for employees and visitors by performing daily cleaning tasks in common areas and support spaces.

Responsibilities

Safely mix, use, and store cleaning chemicals in accordance with Safety Data Sheets (SDS) per provided training and department practice
Perform daily janitorial cleaning of restrooms, locker rooms, break rooms, offices, conference rooms, hallways, stairwells, and entryways
Sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuum floors using manual tools or powered floor equipment
Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces such as door handles, light switches, handrails, tables, and shared equipment
Restock restroom and breakroom supplies (paper towels, soap, toilet paper, etc.)
Empty trash receptacles and gather cardboard; transport waste to designated area
Empty laundry hampers and bins; transport bags to designated area
Clean interior glass, windows, partitions, and mirrors
Dust and wipe surfaces including desks, ledges, vents, and fixtures
Spot-clean walls, doors, and baseboards to maintain facility appearance
Monitor and report facility maintenance needs (plumbing leaks, lighting outages, damaged fixtures, non-working dispensers etc.)
Maintain janitorial closets in a clean, organized, and properly stocked condition
Follow established cleaning schedules and company safety procedures
