About The Position
Performs routine semi-skilled work maintaining active community parks, grounds, and buildings.
Requirements
- Some experience in the operation of automotive equipment and the performance of manual labor.
- Must possess a valid Virginia driver’s license.
Responsibilities
- Operates commercial landscape equipment, prunes and cuts trees and shrubs, preparation of high-quality athletic fields.
- Performs daily park and facility preparation.
- Performs semi-skilled repair maintenance, custodial activities and other related park maintenance tasks.
- Performs preventative maintenance on commercial/landscape equipment.
- Assist with special activities and volunteer events.
- Meets, greets, and assist the public with park questions and needs.
- Performs related tasks as required.
