As a seasonal veterinary assistant, you will gain exposure to a wide variety of services and procedures while helping support our hospital operations and patient care. As a Veterinary Assistant , you will support the medical team and help ensure a clean, safe, and efficient hospital environment.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Interest in veterinary medicine, animal care, or related fields preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment
  • Comfort working with animals of various sizes and temperaments

Responsibilities

  • Assisting with daily hospital operations
  • Cleaning and maintaining kennels and hospital areas
  • Supporting patient care under veterinary supervision
  • Assisting with patient restraint during exams and procedures
  • Administering vaccines and medications as directed
  • Cleaning and treating wounds
  • Monitoring patient comfort and safety
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the facility
