Seasonal Maintenance Worker
About The Position
Perform manual and semi-skilled labor performing maintenance on assigned parks, roadways, and other Sudden Valley Community Association (SVCA) facilities. Works as part of a small team cleaning SVCA ditches and road shoulders; feeding brush and debris into a woodchipper. Maintenance and repairs of buildings and facilities. Duties include basic skills such as surface preparation and painting. Disposal of debris and trash from SVCA parks, trails, recreation spaces, grounds, and facilities. Operate a gas-powered weed trimmer and mowers maintaining SVCA parks and facilities. Sweeps or uses leaf blowers to clean exterior entryways, walkways, and roadways. Operate power washer to clean vehicles and equipment Mains records of tasks performed. Mains an effective working relationship with SVCA staff, board members, and the general public. Promotes and supports workplace safety. Undertakes other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must be 18+ years old
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening
- Must maintain consistent and punctual attendance
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Ability and willingness to perform manual labor

- Valid WA State driver's license preferred
