About The Position

The City is looking to hire seasonal Park Rangers in the Parks & Public Facilities for the 2026 season. The anticipated season is April - November 2026. Performs administrative support work in a variety of recreation activities, programs, events, facility needs, and routine enforcement of park rules and regulations, and related work as apparent or assigned. Works a varied schedule to include days, evenings and weekends. Work is performed under the moderate supervision of the Parks and Public Facilities Supervisor (“supervisor”). Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license
• First Aid/CPR Card

Nice To Haves

• Prior Park Ranger experience
• Ability to complete tasks with minimal on-site supervision
• Experience working in an outdoor environment with extreme temperatures (hot/cold) and wind
• Ability to work late evening shifts
• Prior experience with policy enforcement
