About The Position

Pool Attendant is responsible for overseeing the pool area of an upscale apartment community, ensuring residents have a safe and enjoyable experience while maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of the pool and surrounding areas. This seasonal position focuses on customer service, safety, and maintenance duties to support the overall resident experience. Essential Functions: Customer Service and Safety: Greet residents and assist with pool sign-ins, providing guidance on community policies and procedures. Enforce all pool and safety rules to ensure a secure environment for residents and visitors. Pool and Facility Maintenance: Maintain the operation of the pool by checking chemical levels and ensuring water quality. Clean the pool and surrounding areas, including the deck and bathrooms, to maintain a high standard of cleanliness. Perform opening and closing duties, such as vacuuming the pool, watering flowers, straightening furniture, and stocking bathrooms. General Upkeep: Ensure the area remains organized and aesthetically pleasing by managing pool toys, trash, and other items. Assist with maintaining the overall appearance and operation of the pool area and grounds. Other: Demonstrate the companys core values consistently. Complete all additional tasks, projects, and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor or company.

Requirements

• No previous experience required.
• Must be safety-conscious and motivated to provide excellent customer service.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
• Attention to detail, particularly regarding safety and cleanliness.
• Strong communication skills and ability to engage with residents.
• Ability to multitask and manage pool-related maintenance duties effectively.
• Physical ability to sit or stand for extended periods, occasionally lift up to 25 pounds, and conduct on-site property inspections (which may include walking, climbing stairs, or working in various weather conditions).
• Ability to work independently and take initiative in ensuring the pool area is well-maintained.
