About The Position

As the only aerial tramway in Southeast Alaska, guests at the Goldbelt Tram are invited to soar to new heights in scenic adventure aboard Juneau's top attraction. We offer locals and visitors an opportunity to experience breathtaking Alaska scenery, explore the miles of trails atop Mount Roberts, and learn more about Alaska Native culture. Summary Goldbelt TRAM is seeking a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Shuttle Driver. The Shuttle Driver will play a key role in ensuring smooth and efficient shuttle and parking operations, providing guests with a positive arrival and departure experience. We're excited to share that the job is based in beautiful Juneau, Alaska! We kindly ask that all applicants either live in Juneau or be open to relocating at their own expense.

Requirements

• Knowledge of customer service techniques
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and a focus on delivering high-quality service
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift objects as needed
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
• Must hold and maintain a valid State Issued Driver's License
• Previous experience in customer service or a similar role
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to successfully pass a background check

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma or GED
• Knowledge of safety and emergency procedures
• Current CPR and first aid certificates.

Responsibilities

• Operates assigned shuttle routes safely and consistently providing reliable and timely transport.
• Conducts pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Direct vehicles to available parking spaces in an organized and efficient manner
• Greet guests upon arrival and departure, providing friendly and professional assistance as needed
• Collect parking fees and issue receipts, ensuring accuracy in transactions
• Monitor the parking lot area for any safety hazards or security concerns, taking appropriate action as needed
• Manage traffic flow within the parking lot, especially during peak times, to minimize congestion and ensure safety
• Keep the vehicle and parking lot clean and well-maintained, including removing debris and snow as necessary
• Effectively communicate with guests and colleagues to provide information and assistance as required
• Address guest inquiries, complaints, and issues promptly and professionally, seeking solutions to ensure guest satisfaction
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as relevant regulations and guidelines, to maintain a safe and compliant parking environment
• Performs other duties as assigned.
