POSITION OVERVIEW We are currently seeking a skilled HVAC Sheet Metal Installer to join our fast-growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation of sheet metal components on commercial HVAC projects. This role is hands-on and focused on executing high-quality work in the field while maintaining safety standards and meeting project timelines. The Sheet Metal Installer will work closely with foremen, project managers, and other trades to ensure successful project completion.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in commercial HVAC sheet metal installation (preferred)
• Basic understanding of HVAC systems and ductwork installation
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
• OSHA 10 certification preferred, or willingness to obtain
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to travel to various job sites as needed
• Ability to read and understand construction documents, safety protocols, and basic correspondence.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
• Ability to perform basic measurements and calculations related to duct installation and layout.
• Ability to follow instructions, identify basic issues in the field, and escalate concerns appropriately.
• Work is performed in a field environment across commercial construction sites.
• Exposure to varying weather conditions, heights, confined spaces, and loud environments is expected.
• Regularly required to stand, walk, bend, and climb ladders.
• Must be able to use hands to handle tools and materials and lift/move up to 50 pounds.
• Requires close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities

• Install sheet metal ductwork and HVAC components, including fittings, dampers, and supports
• Read and interpret mechanical plans, blueprints, and project specifications
• Measure, cut, and assemble sheet metal materials for installation
• Assist with the layout and installation of HVAC systems in commercial settings
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized job site
• Coordinate with foremen and other team members to ensure efficient workflow
• Identify and report installation issues or discrepancies to leadership
• Properly use and maintain tools and equipment
• Support other crew members as needed to meet project deadlines
• Ensure work is completed accurately and in accordance with company standards
