About The Position

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Secondary Teacher - Cert III Fitness and HPE with tertiary teaching qualifications and QCT registration (or eligibility) for a permanent, full-time position commencing 20 April 2026. You will join a supportive team of committed teachers who work collaboratively with colleagues and the wider school community to provide the best possible learning experience for every student. Your understanding of contemporary teaching practices and your ability to engage and support a diverse range of learners will help students feel included, confident, and motivated to participate in physical activity. In this role, you will deliver engaging lessons that promote teamwork, resilience, wellbeing, and lifelong healthy habits. Through purposeful lesson design, clear expectations, and reflective practice, you will inspire students to develop their physical skills, confidence, and understanding of health and fitness. You will also use a range of assessment strategies to monitor student progress, celebrate achievements, and provide meaningful feedback that supports each student’s development and participation. A Certificate III in Fitness would be highly desirable.
