About The Position

The Command Center Security Analyst will be responsible for handling the day-to-day operations of the Command Center, ensuring coverage and response capabilities. This pivotal role requires a professional with an understanding of the industry’s best practices as it relates to customer service, incident response, threat intelligence, safety and security, emergency management, and escalations. The Security Analyst will report directly to the Operations Center Manager. This position is 100% in person.

Requirements

  • 3 years experience in emergency management, crisis management, emergency operations centers, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with OSINT intelligence and investigative tools.
  • Familiarity with video surveillance, access control, threat intelligence, mass notification, and incident case management systems.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 products.
  • Alignment with Success Academy’s principles of corporate culture and goals (see Appendix).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Exceptional vigilance and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and make decisive, well-informed decisions.
  • Proven capability in handling high-stress situations and de-escalating conflicts.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in a GSOC preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Emergency Management, Criminal Justice, International Relations, Security Studies, Political Science, or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for intake, triage and response to all calls to the Command Center, which may include persons in distress, acting as a calm and collected security point of contact.
  • Ability to review intelligence feeds quickly, escalating threats to the client's employees and offices to incident management channels, acting as a conduit to action results.
  • Maintain meticulous data keeping for incident management and tracking.
  • Respond, compile and report all information regarding security incidents that may occur during the course of duty.
  • Operate multi-line telephone.
  • Provide assistance to Success Academy with incident-related requests and support.
  • Escalate without delay critical event information to the Command Center manager as outlined in the Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Identify and prioritize emergency situations as they develop.
  • Communicate effectively verbally and in writing with a diverse group of people to include C-Suite executives, support staff, security operators, law enforcement and operation centers.
  • Perform Operations Center functions such as entering and updating client data, maintaining duty logs, updating and organizing company shared drive files and applications.
  • Proactively seek efficiencies across all functions of the Command Center.
  • All other duties as assigned.
