About The Position

Inhabit IQ is looking for aSecurity Analyst to join our growing information security team. The Security Analyst would be assisting with strategic initiatives in identifying and reducing the attack surface across multiple systems and applications. In this role you will be responsible for keeping our internal and customer facing systems secure and in compliance with the regulations applicable to each system. The role is technical, and candidates must possess a solid understanding of information security, cloud infrastructure networking, services and operating system, and the various attacker tactics, techniques, and procedures.

  • Proven experience in designing and implementing security solutions for cloud environments (AWS, Azure)
  • 4+ years of experience in information security, and compliance.
  • Working knowledge of a variety of Information Security tools and systems.
  • A good understanding of security, web-based and infrastructure vulnerabilities.
  • Demonstrated familiarity and experience with incident handling techniques and processes.
  • The ideal candidate would have 4+ years of direct security experience overall with intense interest in learning and applying security technologies and tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree in MIS, technical discipline, or equivalent experience

Nice To Haves

  • Professional certification(s) preferred such as Security+, CCSP, CySA+, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)

Responsibilities

  • Taking an active lead to consult, recommend, and partner with Inhabit IQ brand teams and cloud engineering teams to help better secure their operations.
  • Analyzing the security and privacy alerts, taking appropriate response measures that includes escalation, issue resolution and reporting.
  • Using multiple security tools to identify, assess, report, and remediate security vulnerabilities in various applications and host environments.
  • Assisting with information security risk assessments and provide technical support for compliance initiatives related to PCI DSS, SOC 2, ISO27001, and other information security regulations.
  • Designing and implementing security measures for cloud-based applications, services, and data storage.
  • Collaborating with DevOps and development teams to integrate security best practices into the entire software development lifecycle.
  • Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing on cloud environments.
