About The Position

Security and Infrastructure Cloud Engineer The Opportunity: Design, implement, integrate, and maintain systems and tools to automate complex cyber activities. Apply advanced skills, extensive technical expertise, and full industry knowledge. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Work without considerable direction and mentor and supervise team members. You Have: 3+ years of experience with AWS infrastructure provisioning and administration Experience with Terraform for infrastructure-as-code, including writing modules, managing state, and planning and applying across multiple environments Experience with AWS identity and access management, such as IAM policies, roles, SCPs, and permission boundaries Experience with AWS networking, including VPCs, subnets, security groups, transit gateways, and endpoint configurations Experience with AWS Security Hub, GuardDuty, Config Rules, or AWS-native security and compliance tooling, and working in a DoD, IC, or federal cloud environment such as GovCloud or C2S Experience supporting RMF accreditation activities, including generating evidence artifacts, remediating STIG findings, or documenting control implementations Knowledge of CloudWatch or CloudTrail for logging, monitoring, and audit trail requirements Ability to work on-site at the designated location per program requirements TS/SCI clearance HS diploma or GED Nice If You Have: Experience in AWS GovCloud including partition-specific service limitations and workarounds Experience with IL4/IL5/IL6 cloud environments and Dod Cloud Computing SRG impact level requirements Experience with Terraform CI/CD integration, including plan or apply pipelines via GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or Atlantis with policy-as-code, such as OPA or Sentinel Experience with AWS Organizations, Control Tower, or account vending patterns for multi-account governance Experience with ACAS or Nessus scan remediation or DoD STIG automation, such as Ansible hardening playbooks, OpenSCAP, or SCAP Compliance Checker Experience building and maintaining AMI or container image pipelines with baked-in compliance baselines Experience in cross-domain solution architecture or data transfer workflows between classification levels Experience with AWS cost management, such as tagging strategies, budgets, Reserved Instance or Savings Plan optimization, and showback reporting Experience with eMASS or Xacta for managing ATO packages, POA&Ms, and continuous monitoring submissions AWS certification, including Solutions Architect Associate or Security Specialty preferred Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. Requirements
