About The Position

The Event Security Coordinator serves as the primary on-site security liaison for special events and daily operations, coordinating contract security personnel and ensuring compliance with stadium protocols. This role manages security technologies, responds to incidents with proper documentation, provides staff training, and maintains relationships with security partners while upholding all safety standards and regulatory requirements. Additionally, this role will assist in the planning and implementation of security operations for major events as needed.

Requirements

  • Highschool Diploma Required, bachelor’s degree in criminal justice or similar field preferred
  • Posses or able to obtain State of Tennessee unarmed guard license
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in events, security, law enforcement, or a closely related field
  • Experience coordinating events strongly preferred
  • CPR, First Aid, Stop the Bleed, and AED certifications preferred
  • Proven leadership experience in supervisory or managerial roles preferred
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to lead, understand, and convey information clearly
  • Demonstrate the ability to foster a positive, motivating, and collaborative work environment
  • Excellent relationship building skills with internal teams and external partners
  • Ability to perform under pressure, including effective multitasking in fast paced environments
  • Flexibility to work non‑traditional hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Able to lift or carry up to 40 LBS at any given point

Responsibilities

  • Support major and special events security operations by collaborating with event staff and ensuring adherence to stadium protocols.
  • Serve as on-site security liaison during Special Events, addressing client needs and resolving issues as they arise.
  • Assist in coordinating contract security staffing based on event requirements and oversee personnel performance.
  • Provide training and maintain SOPs, including emergency response procedures and post responsibilities for Special Events.
  • Respond to and document security incidents, ensuring proper action, reporting, and communication with Security Department.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, fire, and emergency protocols and State, Federal, and league requirements.
  • Manage CCTV and security technologies to support event and daily operations.
  • Identify and escalate issues to the Security Manager and assist with investigations when needed.
  • Maintain strong relationships with contract security partners through consistent communication and support.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by Security leadership.
