As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading tech and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay highly visible, and help to deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine rounds, support access control, respond to requests, and deliver professional customer service and clear communication. Position Type: Flex Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Sun 12:30 PM - 10:30 PM

Requirements

• Have 1+ years of security-related experience.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Possess a state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Have access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Have customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or public emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of offices, labs, loading areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify maintenance or access control concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor flow, verify identification and/or access credentials per post orders, and document unusual activity per reporting requirements.
• Complete detailed written and electronic reports, including shift activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation, and communicate handoff information to the oncoming officer.
