About The Position

ModCorr offers rapid, efficient delivery and setup of minimum to maximum security correctional facilities and specialty units. All products are constructed offsite in a controlled environment and conform to the same building codes as traditional construction. ModCorr’s safe, secure and high-quality units comply with all American Correctional Association (ACA) and American with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards. Overview We are seeking a Glazier to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and replacing security glass in various structures, including commercial and detention hollow metal windows and doors, and occasionally commercial storefronts. This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to work with precision in a variety of environments. The Glazier will also collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to high standards.

Requirements

Strong communication skills
Must be able to read a tape measure
Caulking experience is strongly preferred.
Familiarity with hand tools used in glass installation and repair.
Driver's License: Clean driving record required, no DUI’s
Clean criminal history (no felonies)
Must be able to pass regular drug screenings
Ability to travel as needed.
English (Required, Spanish is a plus)

Nice To Haves

Asst. Glazier: 1 year preferred
OSHA 30 preferred
Spanish is a plus

Responsibilities

Communicate effectively with the lead Glazier/foreman about issues and needs.
Assist in the installation of security glass in detention and commercial hollow metal windows, doors, and other structures according to specifications.
Apply caulking and sealants to ensure airtight and watertight installations.
Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction projects.
Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
