About The Position

As a Security GSOC Officer in San Francisco, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Dispatch professional supporting a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location. In this role, you will monitor communications and alarm activity, coordinate incident response, document security-related events, and provide outstanding customer service. You will help support a seamless operation through clear communication, teamwork, and integrity while contributing to a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative culture.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors while carrying out site-specific procedures, communication protocols, and emergency response activities for a fast-paced technology and communications location.
  • Monitor dispatch systems, phones, radios, alarms, cameras, and/or other communication tools to receive calls, document activity, and coordinate appropriate security-related responses.
  • Respond to incidents, service requests, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating information to site contacts, first responders, and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
  • Maintain accurate logs, reports, and dispatch records, including incident details, officer activity, visitor-related information, and status updates for ongoing situations.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter when assigned, while helping to deter unwanted activity and reporting maintenance, access control, and/or security-related concerns.
