About The Position

As a Security GSOC Officer in San Francisco, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Dispatch professional supporting a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location. In this role, you will monitor communications and alarm activity, coordinate incident response, document security-related events, and provide outstanding customer service. You will help support a seamless operation through clear communication, teamwork, and integrity while contributing to a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative culture.

Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors while carrying out site-specific procedures, communication protocols, and emergency response activities for a fast-paced technology and communications location.
Monitor dispatch systems, phones, radios, alarms, cameras, and/or other communication tools to receive calls, document activity, and coordinate appropriate security-related responses.
Respond to incidents, service requests, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating information to site contacts, first responders, and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
Maintain accurate logs, reports, and dispatch records, including incident details, officer activity, visitor-related information, and status updates for ongoing situations.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter when assigned, while helping to deter unwanted activity and reporting maintenance, access control, and/or security-related concerns.
