As an Armed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, stay highly visible, and help to deter security-related incidents. You will respond to calls for assistance, document observations, and communicate clearly with tenants, visitors, and site contacts. Requirements

• Armed Guard Card/License is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer Service Experience is preferred.
• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance or security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, providing initial scene management and coordinating with site contacts and/or public emergency partners as needed.
• Control access points by verifying credentials, monitoring visitor activity, and enforcing property rules while maintaining a professional presence.
• Complete timely written reports and logs, document incident details, and communicate observations and/or hazards to Allied Universal leadership and site management.
