About The Position

As a Security Guard - Armed Patrol in Jupiter, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support staff, patients, and visitors with clear communication and strong customer service. This is a driving post, so you will use a company vehicle to patrol assigned areas, respond to calls for service, and document activity. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Have 3+ Years' Combined Law Enforcement/Military/Security Experience OR a College Degree.
  • Possess an Armed Guard Card/License.
  • Possess an Guard Card
  • Be 21+ years of age.
  • Have 5+ Years of armed security experience.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
  • Conduct armed patrols and security-related presence throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter areas, including regular and random patrols as assigned.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site leadership and public responders as needed.
  • Control access at designated points, verify identification and/or authorization when required, and help to deter unauthorized entry and prohibited items.
  • Complete security-related reports, document incidents and patrol activities, preserve observations, and communicate key information to the shift lead and/or site contacts.
