About The Position

As a Security Guard - Bank Patrol Driver in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and remaining visible throughout financial institution locations. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a secure environment. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, using sound judgment and following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the financial institution and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and maintain a visible presence.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and report any suspicious activity to the appropriate personnel.
Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, observations, and daily activities as required by Allied Universal and site management.
Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and staff to provide information and assistance as needed.
Remain alert and attentive while on duty to help to deter security-related risks and support a secure environment at the location.
