About The Position

As a Security Guard - Bilingual Spanish Patrol in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support staff, patients, and visitors with clear communication and customer service. You will document observations and respond to calls for assistance while working as part of a team that values integrity, reliability, agility, innovation, and a people-first culture.

Requirements

  • Speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.
  • Have 6+ months of security experience.
  • Client requires proof of HS Diploma/GED.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
  • Comfortable using computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or requests for assistance in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to clinical staff and/or public emergency services as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
  • Control access by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials as required, and directing visitors to appropriate destinations in accordance with site procedures.
  • Complete security-related reports and activity logs, document unusual activity, and communicate pertinent information to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
