Join Allied Universal at a busy manufacturing and industrial location where you will focus on access control, greeting employees and visitors, verifying credentials, managing badges and logs, and helping to spot and report security-related concerns. You will stay visible, communicate clearly, and support operations with an agile, reliable, and innovative approach grounded in integrity and teamwork. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license per Allied Universal Driver Policy Requirements.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial manufacturing location.
- Manage access control at entry points by verifying identification, authorizations, and required credentials, and by issuing visitor instructions per site guidelines.
- Monitor alarms, cameras, and access control systems, and report irregular activity through established communication and documentation channels.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site leadership and emergency services as directed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, and the facility perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
