As a Screener in a busy logistics and distribution location, you will help monitor entry points, verify credentials, support screening procedures, and communicate clearly with drivers, employees, and visitors. You will complete routine patrols and visible presence checks, document security-related activity, and report concerns to site leadership. Requirements

• Possess a TSA-issued TWIC card.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Screen and verify inbound and outbound personnel, drivers, and/or visitors at designated entry points, including checking identification, validating appointments, and directing traffic to appropriate areas.
• Support access control for a logistics and distribution location by managing sign-in logs, issuing temporary credentials when authorized, and communicating entry denials or exceptions to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate contacts as required by post orders.
• Conduct routine visual checks of screening areas, dock approaches, and/or entry corridors to help to deter unauthorized access, theft-related activity, and policy violations.
