As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a premier commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with calm professionalism. You will deliver standout customer service and clear communication while documenting observations and reporting issues. Requirements

• Have at least 2+ years of security-related experience.
• A guard card and/or security license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout common areas, parking areas, loading areas, and building perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance or access concerns.
• Monitor access points and controlled areas, check doors and gates for proper closure, and assist with visitor direction and after-hours access requests according to post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting property management and/or emergency services as needed.
• Complete patrol logs, incident reports, and other required documentation, and communicate relevant observations during shift briefings and post hand-offs.
