Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a healthcare location, where you will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and assist staff, patients, and visitors with clear communication and customer service. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license under AU Driver Policy Requirements. Requirements

• EMT Certification is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate information to site leadership and/or public responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Monitor access points and screening areas as assigned, verify credentials where applicable, and assist with visitor directions and/or check-in procedures in accordance with site policy.
• Complete written and/or electronic reports, maintain activity logs, and support investigations by documenting observations and preserving information according to site requirements.
