As a Front Desk Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will greet visitors, manage access control and/or badging, monitor the lobby and entry points, and document security-related activity with clear communication. You will be a visible, professional presence while supporting tenants, guests, and property staff with customer-focused service. Requirements

  • Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the front desk by following site-specific procedures, access control policies, and/or emergency response activities for a commercial property.
  • Greet and screen visitors, issue guest passes as directed, manage deliveries and service providers, and direct tenants and guests to the appropriate locations.
  • Monitor CCTV, alarms, and other building systems as assigned, reporting unusual activity and helping to deter unauthorized access through consistent front desk presence.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating notifications to property management and/or emergency services as needed.
  • Complete required reports, incident documentation, and shift logs, and communicate key information during post handoff to support continuity of security-related operations.
