As a Front Desk Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will be the welcoming first point of contact, helping to monitor lobby activity, manage visitor access, and support badge and key control. You will handle phone and radio communications, document security-related incidents, and partner with site teams to maintain a professional, service-focused environment rooted in integrity, teamwork, and a caring culture.

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and access control activities for a commercial real estate location.
  • Screen and process arrivals by verifying identification as required, issuing visitor credentials, maintaining sign-in and/or sign-out logs, and directing guests to the appropriate destination.
  • Monitor lobby activity and security-related systems as assigned, report unusual conditions, and help to deter unauthorized entry through presence and professional communication.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications and/or emergency response activities per post orders.
  • Complete shift reports and incident documentation, communicate with property management and/or building staff, and support service requests while maintaining a professional front desk presence.
