As an unarmed patrol officer at a busy retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas through routine foot and vehicle rounds, maintaining a visible presence that helps reduce security-related incidents. You will assist customers and store teams, communicate clearly, and document concerns. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license in line with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to guests and store associates by carrying out Allied Universal security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of sales floors, entrances, loading and receiving areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter theft, vandalism, and other unwanted activity.
• Observe for suspicious behavior, policy violations, and potential hazards, and report conditions to store management and/or Allied Universal supervision as directed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting local law enforcement and/or emergency services when required.
• Complete detailed written reports, incident documentation, and activity logs, and communicate updates to on-site leadership during shift transitions.
