As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access control and visitor processes, document observations using a computer and/or tablet, and communicate clearly with team members and site staff. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following site-specific policies, completing security-related procedures, and participating in emergency response activities as directed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking lots, and perimeter gates to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Control access by checking identification, verifying visitor and contractor authorization, managing sign-in and/or badge processes, and directing traffic flow at entrances as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including monitoring alarms, reporting hazards or suspicious activity, and requesting assistance when appropriate.
• Complete routine documentation such as shift logs, patrol reports, and incident reports, and communicate pertinent information to site contacts and Allied Universal management.
