As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will greet employees and visitors, respond to concerns, document observations, and communicate clearly with your team. Requirements

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Be 21 or more years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
  • Have a state, county, or city issued security license preferred.
  • Have customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to client staff and visitors at a financial services location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as directed.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
  • Monitor access control points and observe lobby, office, and ATM or vestibule areas, reporting irregular conditions and/or policy violations through established channels.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, providing assistance to employees and/or visitors until additional resources arrive.
  • Complete detailed written reports, incident logs, and patrol documentation, and communicate observations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
