You will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents, and assist staff, patients, and visitors with clear communication and courteous service. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by following site-specific procedures, access guidelines, and other security-related policies, and by supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, parking areas, and building perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify security-related concerns.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and requests for assistance in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate status updates to site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
Monitor access points and common areas, assist with visitor directions and queue management, and help maintain orderly movement through lobbies, entrances, and patient care corridors.
Document patrols, incidents, and observed conditions in required reports and logs, and escalate issues per post orders and chain of command.
