As an Allied Universal Access Control Officer at a busy retail and/or mall location, you will greet shoppers and team members, manage entry procedures, verify credentials, and monitor activity to help identify and/or reduce security-related concerns. You will remain highly visible, communicate clearly with store leadership, and document incidents with integrity. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients and guests by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a retail location.
- Control access at designated entry points by monitoring incoming and outgoing traffic, verifying identification and/or authorization as required, and maintaining visitor and vendor logs.
- Monitor CCTV, access control systems, and/or alarm panels for irregular activity, and communicate observations to on-site management and/or dispatch.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation, reporting, and documentation per site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of common areas, sales floors, back-of-house areas, and the perimeter as directed, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
