About The Position

As a Security Guard - Front Desk - Weekdays in O Fallon, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Front Desk Officer at a high-profile financial institution, you will be the welcoming first point of contact, helping manage access control, verify credentials, and support visitor check-in and badge issuance. You will monitor cameras and alarms, communicate clearly with employees and guests, and document security-related observations. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the front desk of a financial services location by following site-specific procedures, access control requirements, and/or visitor management protocols.
  • Greet and screen visitors, issue temporary badges when authorized, and direct guests to the appropriate contact while maintaining accurate sign-in logs and documentation.
  • Monitor lobby activity, cameras, and/or alarm indicators from a stationary post and report irregular activity or policy concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications, documenting events, and supporting emergency response activities as directed.
  • Answer phones and route calls, assist with package and delivery coordination, and support administrative tasks tied to security-related procedures and reporting.
